Action and survival fusion

Tribes of Midgard is a premium and exciting combination of survival and action RPG developed by Norsfell and published by Gearbox Publishing. It can be played by one to 10 players and involves crafting legendary items, building a home base, and going on an adventure through different realms to battle massive creatures that are determined to bring Ragnarok to life.

Tribes of Midgard take players on an adventure through the cold depths of Niflheim to rescue a god from a tyrannical ruler. When not exploring, players can expand their settlements, farm for resources, and defend their tribe from wild creatures.

A bewitching adventure

This Witch Saga-inspired game offers two modes, including Survival Mode, which allows players to explore and build at their own pace, and Saga Mode, which is a fast-paced time attack mode where players must defend against Ragnarok and unlock unique classes to fortify their village. As you progress, you will be able to unlock new rewards and achieve greater accomplishments.

Tribes of Midgard require players to take on the role of a Viking warrior, also called Einherjar, who must face enormous threats from enemies. Despite starting with minimal equipment, players can unleash powerful spells and use weapons and shields to battle these colossal foes. The gameplay offers a range of activities, including in-game events, sailing, questing, raiding dungeons, and even fishing, for a more enjoyable experience.

However, like any other game, this title has some setbacks, mainly with its quality issues. The gameplay offers so much, but not every feature is polished, especially with the confusing game mechanics. Some game modes are also so buggy that they are almost unplayable. Nevertheless, the game has a decent story and premise and can still be enjoyable for almost any player.

A big price discounts

Tribes of Midgard is presently offered at a reduced price, with a 70 percent discount from its original price. Hurry, as this big discount ends on April 4. Seize the chance to download the game at its most big discount.

Additionally, there's an ongoing event in the game called Byefrost Festive. During this event, you can engage in three challenges, one per week. Completing each challenge successfully grants valuable rewards — 150 platinum coins for the first week, a Floblin portrait for the second week, and another 150 platinum coins for the final week. Acting quickly is important as this event spans from March 28 to April 18.

Along with this event, this game also introduces brand new Byefrost mounts, including Rollo the Spring Bearer, Riding Golden Rooster, and a Riding Spotted Rooster.

Fun, but it needs some extra work

Tribes of Midgard offers multiple activities, including in-game events, such as sailing, questing, and raiding dungeons, where players can unlock new rewards and achievements as they progress. However, the game has quality issues, particularly with confusing mechanics and buggy game modes. Despite these setbacks, the game's story and premise remain decent and can still provide an enjoyable experience for players.
